About Us

The University of Utah’s Master of Science in International Affairs and Global Enterprise (MIAGE) program was established in 2008, by  Dr. Stephen E. Reynolds, as a joint offering by the College of Social and Behavioral Science, the S.J. Quinney College of Law, and the David Eccles School of Business.

The demand for global, interdisciplinary knowledge is on the rise. Many students who complete an undergraduate degree in the social sciences or in business end up working for private companies, NGOs, or government agencies where in-depth knowledge of global affairs is advantageous. The innovative MIAGE program was established to combine the study of international business, international law, and international social sciences, instilling students with comprehensive, operational knowledge of how multinational organizations function in the global market. 

The MIAGE program has been designed to meet the needs of business, government, and NGO leaders who increasingly demand globally aware graduates to solve complex multinational issues.
